CALIBER'S BACKPACK
BOB SHELLINE - CRITIQUE
All in all, solid rough designs. Now it's time to start pushing them further and making them look more like they belong in a fighting game.

MOUNTAIN TEMPLE (First Videogame Environment)
This was the paintover I did of Mike's design. I loved the snow and ice from Alyssa's earlier concept, so I added it in.
(It's not finished!) But hopefully it's descriptive enough.
I don't know if you guys (the modelling team or whatever) are planning to build this as an actual 3D environment or just have everything as overlapping layers, but here's the environment at a 3/4 view. The fighters will be on the gateway bridge thing to the left.
Splashed on some color. Ugh, I hate painting.
Roughed this out before dinner. An arial view of the environment.

World Ideas
Trying to go for the cool color palette. The first one is a crystal world, with perhaps a giant crystal growing in the background (watch crystals grow; it's so cool!). The second is an icy cavern with a Buddha statue. Of course, we can change Buddha, if he's "copyrighted" ;) Maybe stalactites could be falling from the ceiling the whole time, and then angry environmentalists will rush in if you step on a stalagmite.

World Thumbnails
Quick sketch ideas. If we go with the Egyptian temple, I volunteer as tribute to design Egyptian Chewbacca.
